Year 8 student Harvey was recently nominated by Mrs Harrisson for a one year scholarship with the Contemporary Youth Choir.
As part of his scholarship Harvey performed at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham last Saturday with both the Contemporary Youth and Adult Choir.
Harvey says,
“I would like to thank Ms Harrisson for giving me this scholarship so I can do things like this because my experiences have been amazing and I think that being with this choir has given me opportunities to perform more and I’m happy because performing is my favourite thing as I love performing Music and Drama.
I am so happy to be a part of The Contemporary Youth Choir and to do my second big performance in a big theatre was amazing for me.
The concert went well, and we are doing a Christmas concert in the symphony hall in Birmingham too this year and the details are to be confirmed, but I do recommend buying tickets because I know you will love it.”
